Computers are an essential part of many people’s daily lifestyle and some people basically cannot exist without one.  However, computers are becoming complex, more and more and each day a computer is built that incorporates more advanced hardware that are sometimes very hard to understand and based on the in ability to sometimes understand these hardware, computer hardware engineer are there that specializes in different forms of computer and they will assist in the development and the identification of whatever complicated problems that you might be facing and computer hardware engineer are also there to help you find solutions for these problems. 

However, what exactly does a computer hardware engineer do?

A computer hardware engineer is there to develop and design computer hardware to be used for military, commercial, scientific, and industrial uses.  They will also test the various different components to ensure that the different computer hardware is functioning properly and that they all meet the necessary specifications and requirements.  A computer hardware engineer is also there to monitor how the equipment is being operated and will also make adjustments and analyze test data. 

A computer hardware technician job is to also provide you with technical support during the development phase of products and also during its implementation phases.  Some computer hardware engineer will also supervise the installation and manufacturing process of computer hardware.  These computer hardware that they install and manufacture include: circuit board, computer chips, computer systems, and other related peripherals such as modems, keyboards, routers, and printers.  While this is done by some computer hardware technician, others will carry out research that will intern improve the advances in computer technology.

Based on the magnitude of task that is carried out by a computer hardware engineer, what training do they require?

All computer hardware engineers will need to have a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering as their lowest form of education; this degree can also be in computer science and it must be from an accredited institution.  However, in order for a computer hardware engineer to do a job in research, they will need to have done a graduate training and with this training, they can also do a career in academia or development. 

A computer hardware engineer need to also be a licensed professional once there service is being offered to the public in all states and a license is distributed to an engineer once they have graduated from an engineering program that has also been accredited by the required board; the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, they also need to pass a state examination, and they will need to have completed four years, the least of work in a related field.
